Skillet Bread
Have you ever heard of Pan Dottie’s? My grandmother in Iowa made them for us with her bread dough. She had no indoor plumbing, grew most of her own food, canned them and always made her own bread. We ate them with fresh vegetables from her garden in late summer. I suppose she didn’t want to turn the oven on to bake, so she used her cast iron pan.
It was far too vinegary for my liking. I would definitely decrease the amount of Vinegar.
